Which of the above options do I have to use?

Access information

User of the University of Oviedo (UniOvi)

In general, use this access if you belong to the university community (students, teaching and research staff (PDI) and administrative and service staff (PAS)).

  • Remember that the name of your account must include @uniovi.es (example: UO111111@uniovi.es).
  • The access password is the same as in the rest of the corporate services.
Access with certificate/Cl@ve

Allow access if you have:

  • Electronic ID
  • An electronic certificate installed in the certificate store used by the browser from which you are accessing.
    • The certificate must be issued by some authorized certification service provider for public administrations, for example, the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre.
    • If you belong to the university community you can request one through our electronic office.
  • With Cl@ve PIN or Cl@ve Permanente. To do this, you must be registered in the Cl@ve system.
Business Access

Companies and entities collaborating with the University of Oviedo must access through the external users option with the account and password that will have been provided to them.

Incident Resolution

If you have access problems, you can contact the User Assistance Center (CAU) at https://causi.uniovi.es, by sending a message to causi@uniovi.es or by calling extension 4000 (internal) or 985 10 4000 from outside.
